Map

This map shows you where major communities and homelands are on the APY Lands.

It also identifies the distances between communities and homelands, where roads and tracks are, trig points are and water bores are.

The Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands are the traditional lands of the Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara people.

This area of land was given back to Anangu tjuta under the Pitjantjatjara Land Rights Act, 1981 at the time.  This later changed to now be the Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Land Rights Act acknowledging the two language groups in the far northwest of South Australia.
